BRUCE CLARK.png

Bruce 'Snowy' Clark has an unparalleled life-long professional career in the thoroughbred racing industry, from extensive media work to jockey management, event hosting and marketing; all underpinned by his inspired charity work as well as branching into bloodstock consultancy.

And there are no signs of slowing down as a passionate supporter of horse racing, its horses, its heroes, and its people.

Bruce started as a journalist at The Courier Mail Newspaper in Brisbane in 1982 before moving to Melbourne in 1997 to start working with Damien Oliver, Chris Munce, Michael Walker, Craig Newitt and Matt Gatt, successfully managing their riding careers.

But the media was never far away and there were radio stints at Sport 927 and RSN, either as the Saturday Morning raceday host or the weekly “Racing Central” prime-time slot, that would lead to being the frontline presenter for the new TVN racing network for almost a decade.

This had afforded opportunity of international travel across the career that has taken Bruce from New Zealand to Hong Kong, to Mauritius to England, Ireland and France and establishing the extensive contacts and relationships that it has presented him.

Charity has always been a significant part of his life, from working with the industry across the racing industry with the 4Tracks4Kids events that raised over $5m to support aligned partners in Sydney and Melbourne.

It led to his role as a passionate ambassador for Pinchapoo, a Robin Hood inspired charity, that aims to eliminate hygiene poverty, which has brought high profile industry partners in support. Pinchapoo is now also the “Pin And Win” charity partner with the Melbourne Racing Club.

Bruce has continued to provide his knowledge, relationships and services to the likes of Tony Fung’s Aquis, Leon and Troy Corstens’ Malua Racing, while continuing to provide must read weekly columns to Racenet.

"For me racing is not your conventional industry;
it's an industry, a romantic quest; a culture, a certain sense of humour;

it's loaded with danger -  physical and  financial, and comes with

a hint of conspiracy"
